Any election should be about the issues and not the individuals.  But I do understand that electors want to know a little bit about me.

I was born in Dewsbury and have lived in West Yorkshire for most of my life. I’ve lived in Clayton West since 2011 and both my children attend local schools.

Prior to 2020 I was not involved in politics. I became involved initially through the Freedom Alliance party to campaign against state over reach. I opposed lockdowns from the start and was prominent in the national resistance against the moves towards mandatory covid vaccinations.

Politically I am a libertarian. I believe that most of the problems we face whether social or economic come from the debt based monetary system we currently use. That system is deliberately designed to work for the benefit of the banks and the billionaires and not we the people. It is currently collapsing and can be replaced by something that is either better fairer and more robust or something which leads to tyranny and oppression.

I have worked as an acupuncturist in Barnsley for the last fifteen years and prior to that was an accountant in the education sector. Through my work have helped thousands of people with a wide range of conditions, problems and illnesses. I love working with people on a one to one basis and using the incredible potential of energetic medicine to help people to heal themselves.

My interests are mostly sporting. I’m a cyclist, (increasingly slow) marathon runner and compete in long distance swimming events. I worked as a voluntary swimming teacher for Scissett Swimming Club for a number of years. I’m a football fan and somewhat controversially have always supported Ipswich Town.

Within our local community I have taught at the swimming club and act as a Trustee and Treasurer of the Millennium Green in Clayton West.
